Terms & Conditions

  1. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, the guests should be teachers, students, researchers, trainees, conference delegates or visitors.
  2. Reservation starts two months before check-in date, while NTNU sectors do not follow this rule, but the venue reservation form needs to be filled and approved by the University’s President to complete the application process.
  3. Exclusive discount is offered to NTNU Students, alumni, staff and honored guests.
  4. Full payment is required before check-in (check-in at 3 p.m.; check-out at 11a.m.). Early check-in and delay in check-out will lead to an extra day’s charge. The reservation is valid till 6 p.m.
  5. Exclusive discount is offered to NTNU teachers (with Teacher Certification,) students, alumni (with a copy of diploma or certificate), staff and honored guests (with application form). One person can get discount for one room only. Please bring the certificate document with you when check in, the refund afterward is not accepted. The immediate families of NTNU alumni, staff, and students are required to show the copy of both sides of the ID card and relevant certificate document.
  6. Extra bed & person service:

    • NTNU CAMPUS INN:No extra bed service is provided, but there is ‘extra person charge’ of NT$500 per night (toiletries not included).
    • NTNU GUEST HOUSE:The maximum is 4 per room. The Deluxe Suite A (Japanese style-2 twin beds) accepts additional guests, up to a maximum of 2 per room (extra single futon feeNT$300); The Deluxe Suite B (2 queen size beds) s’ maximum is 4 and there is ‘extra person charge’ of NT$300 per night for over 2; Triple room has an extra bed service (extra bed fee NT$500). If there’s no extra bed, each extra person will be charged for NT$300.
    • NTNU LINKOU CAMPUS:No extra bed & person service is provided. If the maximum number is exceeded, there is ‘extra person charge’ of NT$300 per night.
    • Simplicity Building:No extra bed & person service is provided. If the maximum number is exceeded, there is ‘extra person charge’ of NT$300 per night.
  7. Reservation over 6 rooms needs to fax the accommodation application, 30% of the full room rate must be paid as deposit within 3 days after it is replied to confirm the application. the reservation (reservation less than 6 nights /6 rooms in NTNU Campus Inn or 3 nights/3 rooms in GUEST HOUSE deposit is not required) Remaining amount (tax included)needs to be paid by credit cards (Visa/Master/Jcb) or cash upon arrival. NTNU CAMPUS INN Group Reservations more than 100 nights or occupy 100 rooms will receive 10% off discount if the total amount is paid all at once. NTNU GUEST HOUSE Group Reservations more than 15 nights or occupy15 rooms will receive 10% discount if the total amount is paid all at once.
  8. Payment & Cancelation & Change:

    • I. Deposit:

      1. By cash or sight check (Check Title Payable to: National Taiwan Normal University).
      2. By credit card
      3. By remittance, Account Name: National Taiwan Normal University Account, Beneficiary with Bank: CHINA TRUST COMMERCIAL BANK, Account No.:107540140310.
    • II. Cancelation:

      1. No cancellation fees will be charged if cancellations are made 14 days prior to your stay.
      2. 30% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 10 to 13 days prior to your stay.
      3. 50% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 7 to 9 days prior to your stay.
      4. 60% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 4 to 6 days prior to your stay.
      5. 70% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 2 to 3 days prior to your stay.
      6. 80% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 1 day prior to your stay.
      7. All deposits will be charged if cancellations are made on the day of your stay or without prior notice.
    • III. Change:

      Date of reservation can be amended 7 days before your check-in and the reservation is valid for six months. There is no surcharge for one amendment regarding change of date or room type, but no refund is allowed. You are required to pay surcharges for amendments made more than once and there is no refund for different payment based on the amendment.

  9. Curfew starts from 23:30 to 6:00.
  10. Others:

    • In case of typhoon or natural disasters, full refund on payments or extended stay can be requested upon Taipei City Government’s public announcement in suspending all work and school participation in two hours.
    • Guests are responsible for keeping their own personal belongings.
    • If the object of the lease is damaged by Lessee or parties residing with Lessee, he/she shall be responsible for compensation.
    • Smoking is not allowed on campus. Alcohol, storage of gas, gambling, pets, combustible oil or explosives is prohibited indoors. If any danger or disaster should occur and if the Lessor as well as other tenants of the building shall suffer any losses, violators will face civil or criminal charges and the cancel of accommodation as well as possible compensations.
    • Toiletries are not provided in line with environmental friendly policy.
    • The cost may, subject to change based on our latest announcements.
  11. Matters that are not covered by the rules and procedures above should be dealt with according to relevant regulations.
  12. These Regulations and amendment(s) are put into enforcement after being approved by the Endowment Fund Committee and the president.
