Terms & Conditions

  1. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, the guests should be come for teaching, studying, researching, training, conference or educational visiting.
  2. Reservation starts from two months before check-in date, while NTNU sectors do not follow this rule, but the reservation form needs to be filled and approved by the University’s President to complete the application process.
  3. Full payment is required before check-in (check-in at 3p.m.; check-out at 11a.m.). Early check-in and late check-out will be charge extra fee. The reservation is available till 6 p.m.
  4. Exclusive discount is offered to teachers (with Teacher Certification,) students, alumni (with a copy of degrees or alumni ID card), staff and honored guests (with application form). One person can get discount for one room only. Please show your certificate document while checking in, the refund is not accepted after then. The NTNU alumni, staff and students are required to show the copy of both sides of the ID card and relevant documents.
  5. Extra bed & regulation

    • NTNU CAMPUS HOSTEL:No extra bed service is provided, but there is ‘extra person charge’ of NT$500 per night (toiletries not included).
    • NTNU LINKOU CAMPUS:No extra bed service is provided, but there is ‘extra person charge’ of NT$300 per night
  6. Reservation over 6 rooms needs to fax or email the accommodation application, 30% of the full room rate must be paid as deposit within 3 days after it is replied to confirm the application. The reservation (less than 6 nights /6 rooms deposit is not required) Remaining amount (tax included) needs to be paid by credit cards (Visa/Master/JCB) or cash upon arrival. The Group Reservations more than 100 nights or occupy 100 rooms will receive 10% off discount if the total amount is paid all at once.
  7. Payment & Cancelation & Change:

    • I. Deposit:

      1. By cash or sight check (Check Title Payable to: National Taiwan Normal University).
      2. By credit card
      3. By remittance, Account Name: National Taiwan Normal University Account, Beneficiary with Bank: CHINA TRUST COMMERCIAL BANK, Account No.:107540140310.
    • II. Cancelation:

      1. No cancellation fees will be charged if cancellations are made 14 days prior to your stay.
      2. 30% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 10 to 13 days prior to your stay.
      3. 50% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 7 to 9 days prior to your stay.
      4. 60% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 4 to 6 days prior to your stay.
      5. 70% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 2 to 3 days prior to your stay.
      6. 80% of the deposit will be charged if cancellations are made 1 day prior to your stay.
      7. All deposits will be charged if cancellations are made on the day of your stay or without prior notice.
  8. Curfew starts from 23:30 to 6:00.
  9. Others:

    • In case of typhoon or natural disasters, payments can be full refunded upon Government’s public announcement in suspending all work and school participation.
    • Guests should take responsibility for keeping their own personal belongings.
    • If the object of the lease is damaged by Lessee or parties residing with Lessee, he/she shall be responsible for compensation.
    • Smoking is not allowed in the campus. Alcohol, storage of gas, gambling, pets, combustible oil or explosives is prohibited indoors. If any danger or disaster should occur and if the Lessor as well as other tenants of the building shall suffer any losses, violators will face civil or criminal charges and the cancel of accommodation as well as possible compensations.
    • In line with environment friendly policy, prepare personal toiletries as possible.

  10. Matters that are not covered by the rules and procedures above should be dealt with according to relevant regulations.
